Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations for the school, including recording transactions, preparing journal entries, and maintaining accurate ledgers. Responsibilities include processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, assisting with payroll calculations, and monitoring budget execution. The role involves preparing financial reports, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, and coordinating with internal departments to provide financial data as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tabūk, requiring regular presence at the school and close collaboration with the administrative team.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in general accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheets, with solid computer literacy.
- Ability to manage budgets, monitor expenses, and support financial planning.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong analytical abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain financial information clearly.
- Ability to work on-site in Tabūk, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Understanding of local financial regulations and basic tax principles; experience in the education sector is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
