The American International School - Riyadh is seeking a certified full-time Elementary School Music Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Please only apply if you meet the minimum criteria below; candidates who do not meet the minimum criteria will not be considered. Qualifications & Criteria:
  • Candidate must be under his/her spouse's sponsorship (please do not apply if you do not meet this criteria)
  • KSA Dependent Status: Holder of valid Saudi Iqama (Residence permit) under husband/wife sponsorship.
  • Professional Teaching Certification is required. (Elementary School Licensed Educator)
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Minimum of 2-years' Elementary Music (Grades 1-5) teaching experience.
  • Fluent English language capacity.
  • Able to start work August 10, 2025.
  • Can commit to AIS-R work hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm (5:00pm on Tuesdays)

Reports to: Elementary School Principal The Purpose of the AIS-R Teacher:To cause learning, thinking and caring; to cultivate inquisitive, independent, and resilient learners who inspire positive change in their communities.

  • Clearly communicates objectives for all instructional activities and outcomes for learning.
  • Arranges instructional space and uses a variety of resources to encourage, facilitate and challenge students to learn.
  • Supports and implements the AIS-R Mission through classroom instruction and involvement in the school community.
  • Assesses student learning with clear criteria that are aligned with standards.
  • Communicates with families and reports student progress on a regular basis.

Terms of Employment:
  • Salary will be assigned from the Faculty salary schedule; the contract term will be 190 days.
  • Dates of Employment: August 10, 2025 - June 17, 2026.

Evaluation: Performance will be evaluated in accordance with school policy by the designated Supervisor.
