AS400 programmer

The role consists of fitting and maintaining CCTV, cycle safety systems, warning lights and beacons as well as other electrical accessories to heavy good vehicles, vans and plant machinery.

The ideal candidate will have experience with an electrical background, take utmost pride in their work as well as respect customers and customer vehicles at all times. Working hours will consist primarily of Monday to Friday although some weekends may be required. Hot Wire is a nationwide installer therefore some overnight stays may be required although these will be agreed as far in advance as possible.

Start and finish times will be from your home.

The scope of work will be installing and servicing:

* Vehicle CCTV cameras and DVR's.
* Side, corner and rear ultrasonic protection systems.
* Vehicle accessory's such as microwaves and TV's.
* Light bars and beacons include directional warning lights.
* Tracking and telematic devices.
* Radar and 360 view safety systems.

Customer Service:

* Looking after the customers at every opportunity.
* Delivering consistently (i.e. where appropriate all vehicles for the client will be done the same way).
* All paperwork completed accurately and on time.
* All parts used tracked and recorded.
* Health & Safety Policies (ours and the customers) followed at all times.

Minimum requirements:

* A full UK driving licence.
* Experience with auto-electrics (previous CCTV experience would be an advantage).
* Computer literate.
* Able to adapt to issues and problem solve.
* Methodical with an eye for detail and finish.
