Consulting Engineer (Bilingual: Arabic and English)

We are seeking a Consulting Engineer who can contribute to our clients success by leveraging their technical expertise and bilingual skills (Arabic and English). While prior knowledge of MongoDB is beneficial it is not mandatorythe right candidates will receive training using the same materials offered to internal employees.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical and diagnostic abilities
  • High motivation for a role combining deep technical expertise and customer interaction
  • Confidence in speaking and presenting in a collaborative customer setting
  • 5 years of software development/consulting/support experience across diverse industries
  • Familiarity with enterprisescale software architectures and application development methodologies
  • Competence in at least one programming language (e.g. Java C Python Node.js Ruby Perl Scala Go)
  • Experience with databases such as MongoDB Oracle MS SQL Server PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with Linux diagnostics (Windows tuning knowledge is a plus)
  • Comfortable with frequent travel for short trips to customer sites during the working week

Responsibilities: As a Consulting Engineer you will:

  • Perform welldefined technical tasks as part of a delivery team on projects of varying complexity.
  • Solve database and application issues particularly related to MongoDB deployments.
  • Demonstrate ownership of the full consulting lifecycle (for own tasks).
  • Surface additional opportunities or risks encountered during customer engagements.
  • Raise bug reports and feature requests based on customer feedback.
  • Deliver customer classroombased training to architect developer and operations roles.
  • Collaborate with fellow consulting engineers project managers and account teams.

Success Measures: You will be successful in this role when you can:

  • Become a field expert in everything MongoDB.
  • Communicate complex technical proposals simply and convincingly to diverse audiences.
  • Gain a reputation as a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Ensure your clients success with their MongoDB endeavors.
  • Maintain the required level of billable utilization.
  • Effectively communicate the product roadmap to external clients.
  • Continuously work on improving yourself our products and our team.
