- Extensive knowledge in locality process and procedure to execute a project.

**TASK DESCRIPTION**

**Personnel**:

- Ensure that company employment and personnel procedures are followed.
- Ensure that necessary documentation is submitted in due time to HR/Finance such as new starter forms, weekly timesheets etc.
- Ensure appraisals of hourly paid employees are carried out.
- Ensure that objectives are set and reviewed for all staff reports.
- Recruitment of site labour in conjunction with the Construction/ Project Manager.

**Health & Safety**:

- Ensure that work is at all times carried out safely in compliance with policies of the company and the particular project.
- Develop and implement safe working methods.
- Ensure that specific method statements and risk assessments are prepared and approved well in advance of any activity on site.
- Ensure that all work is carried out strictly in accordance with the relevant method statement / SSOW.

**Management**:

- Oversee and actively manage the installation requirements of the project in terms of scope, programme and budget.
- Develop detailed programmes for installation with the Construction/ Project Manager and Planner.
- Coordinate daily with main contractor and subcontractors to attend to required site arrangements.
- Monitor expenditure with the Project Manager & QS.
- Review and confirm required packing plans and material call-offs to Vendors and Manufacturers.
- Ensure all onsite and offsite activities are in compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Take responsibility that all necessary plant, equipment and tools are ordered in time, budget and project requirements, in liaison with the Project Manager.
- Check all materials delivered are complete and undamaged and where not the case, ensure that the Project Manager is aware.
- Ensure work and storage areas are kept clean, tidy and safe.
- Ensure that any materials are stored without danger to others or risk of damage.
- Ensure that installation is completed in accordance with the drawings and specification.
- Ensure highest quality standard.
- Review work progress on daily basis.
- Report on the progress of installation and identify and submit formally any matters affecting or likely to affect progress.
- Analyse, manage, coordinate and mitigate risks.
- Ensure that the installation quality documents are completed properly and that the site files are maintained in a tidy and professional manner.
- Ensure quality inspections and work completion inspections are done in time to allow for monthly invoicing submissions.
- Ensure that contractual conditions are met related to construction, quality, safety and logistics (ie. Site Environmental Management Plan, Logistics Plan, etc)

**General**:

- To positively co-operate with and support other members of the project team.
- Work with other projects particularly in the movement of labour and the passing on of knowledge.
- To actively initiate and participate in problem awareness and problem solving.
- Any other ad-hoc duties.
