Qhsse Director

**GENERAL PURPOSE**

A leading Maritime Company in the oil & gas industry is seeking a well experienced QHSSE Director, he will be responsible for:

- The Medic would be the first line of response and care for any personnel involved in an accident or becoming unwell while offshore or on worksite.
- The Medic is responsible for providing medical care for personnel offshore or on a designated plant/ worksite; including maintaining records and producing reports whilst ensuring medical facilities and medicines are up-to date and accurate.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Complete administrative supervision on QHSSE sector
- Co-ordination between departments concerning the conducting of the Internal audits for the Company.
- Co-ordinates with QHSSE sector departments for training needs.
- Reviewing the QHSSE sector Budget.
- A member of the shore contingency response team.
- Report on the performance of the company IMS to the top management.
- Championing, supporting, or leading the company IMS improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring that all managers, process owners and supervisors develop and maintain their part of the company IMS.
- Monitors and advises on how the system is performing.
- Advising management of statistics regarding company performance against set measures.

**QHSSE RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support the organization’s policy commitments and other applicable Arrangements related to its QHSSE management system.
- Take reasonable care of their own health and safety.
- Take reasonable care not to put other people - fellow employees and members of the public - at risk from what they do or don't do in the course of their work.
- Notify their line manager about any health, safety, or environmental concerns they have.
- Suggest improvements and being active in the general improvement of all Systems and methods of work to ensure Company operations are carried out in a personally and environmentally safe, reliable, and cost-effective way.

**Requirements**:
**EDUCATION**
- BSc. Of Engineering or any equivalent field.
- Master’s degree is plus.

**KNOWLEDGE**
- Good knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry codes & standards (API, ASMI, etc....)
- Good knowledge of the offshore installation methodologies & best practice
- Good knowledge of offshore installation codes & standards (DNV, GL/Noble Denton, etc....)
- Excellent knowledge of HSE Standards & Diving Standards. (OSHA, NEBOSH, NIOSH, IOSH, IMCA, IOGP, ISO)

**EXPERIENCE**
- +8 years in the field of offshore oil & gas industry.
- +5 years’ experience in offshore projects QHSSE, management & execution

**SKILLS**
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Excellent knowledge in Microsoft office.
- Good knowledge of project management tools (MS project).
- Fluent in English written & spoken.
- Negotiation Skills.
