Custody Operations - Analyst

**The Role**:
Securities Services Operations is responsible for ensuring timely, complete and accurate processing of relevant information, including performing all relevant controls within own area of responsibility. They undertake time critical, complex or regulated tasks and must ensure the timely escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to the line manager and functional leads as appropriate.

Operations are also responsible for building and managing relationships with the front office and other internal and external parties at an appropriate level, around the more time critical, complex or regulated tasks.

Ensure that the Offshore Operations are conducted through adequate documentation/approvals and ongoing governance. All operational processes of Settlements, FX, Fee billing, and Cash Payment are executed accurately and completed in a timely manner.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- Ensuring timely settlement and clearing as per market standards.
- Adhering to all DB internal control standards.
- Ensuring all applicable regulatory reporting tasks are completed on schedule.
- Ensuring foreign exchange processing, corporate actions and reporting per DB control standards and market requirements.
- Actively participate in UAT's, projects and adhoc tasks.
- Ensuring all reconciliations completed in a timely manner including Nostro, Internal and Depo.
- Supporting interaction between internal and external stakeholders involved in the clearing and settlement process chain.
- Lead automation initiatives in conjunction with local and group resources to support processes within Operations.
- Engagement with local issuers and market authorities (Depository, Stock Exchange, Clearing House) through effective relationship management.
- Be aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with operational risk considerations.

**Your skills and experience**:

- Energetic and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to continuously invest in learning/training to stay abreast of constantly changing industry trends / client requirements and newer products /processes.
- Strong communication skills essential for interacting at all levels across business disciplines, regions and branches.
- Strong problem solving skills/ability to hold clear and concise conversations with internal and external business partners.
- Highly organized individual with attention to detail and excellent ability to execute on deliverable.
- Good understanding of Regulatory & Compliance, internal Risk & Control framework
