WE ARE HIRING FOR A MEDICAL CENTER IN DAMMAM, SAUDI ARABIA Psychologist with Master Degree

**Job description**

Report to: Senior Psychologist/chief of department
Department; Psychiatrist Department

Occupation Summary
- Provide assessment and recommendations for appropriate treatments
- Treat various mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders
- Follow international standards of therapeutic interventions.
- Abide by code of ethics and professionalism.

Main Duties and Tasks;
- Maintain knowledge and skills; Maintain up-to-date knowledge through literature review, peer consult in addition to participation in trainings and scientific conferences.
- Assessment; The primary purpose of psychological assessment is to provide an understanding that informs a practical plan of action
- Perform assessment/evaluation and follow up of clients( individual/couple or family).
- Interventions; Provide therapy and counseling to clients with mental health disorders or other problems affecting quality of life.
- Perform examination and appropriate psychological tests approved by the center
- Monitor patients; Monitor patients’ conditions, assess their response to treatment and achievement of their goals. Re-evaluate treatment plans.
- Administrative; Participate in center's activities. Conduct other administrative tasks as needed. Work in collaboration with renewal and reward to promote mental health awareness;
Education (Academic and Professional;
- Education Level; Master degree or equivalent
- Education Field; Psychology
- Professional License; SCFHS
Competencies and Related Experience;
- Interpersonal relationship; Knowledge of theories on the professional relationship, therapeutic alliance, and more specific knowledge of the fluctuations of the therapeutic/professional relationship as a function of the intervention setting. Effective communication, establishment and maintenance of trust and respect in the professional relationship
- Employability Skills; Personal accountability and ownership, Building and maintaining relationships, Ability to ensure professional self-development, Ability to be considerate of different cultures, Quantitative concepts and analysis skills, Ability to innovate and implement new ideas, Ability to research internet and use the information, Working according to ethical

Related Experience;
- 5-7 years' experience at famous complex or hospitals for mental health -post certification
- Must receive a practical training or work in Therapy after master degree
- Child & Teenagers Psychology is a plus

Additional Requirements;
- Excellent computer skills
- applicable per certification/training
- Excellent in both Arabic & English

Salary Range
- Negotiable

**Salary**: ﷼1.00 per month
