**We can offer you the following tasks**:

- To adhere to & comply with all Global PrimeServ Policies, Processes & Guidelines
- Budgetary responsible for the projects of service organization
- Provides responsive customer service and qualified resources
- Provides accurate and timely quotations for planned and unplanned work. Follow up with customers on service calls, and open sales orders.
- Stays abreast of competencies of company resources and ensures adherence to MAN quality and safety programs and standards.
- Upon receipt of Service requests, and in conjunction with Service planner, Workshop & Sales team, the Service Manager ensures that the best personnel (in regards to skills and availability) are assigned to the job. (this task is shared with Service coordinator on back to back principle)
- Technical inquiries from Customers are responded to by the Service Manager, ensuring a professional customer service and approach
- Prepare work scope prior to attendance
- Define manpower and duration of task. Prepare job schedule.
- Attend customer technical meetings.
- Support on technical level, Clients and MAN service engineers on site. Actively follow up with Product Centre on technical problems.
- Upon receipt of Service requests, Service manager should actively cooperate with Service coordinator / planner and MAN PrimeServ Worldwide network for service attendance
- Responsible for Service related jobs from enquiry until invoicing to customers
- Verify completion of assigned jobs
- Arrange and perform briefing and de-briefing with service engineers if necessary
- Ensure that all work done in the field is clearly reported and documented.
- Receiving, approving and sending service reports
- Discuss with customers at different management levels to follow up on business opportunities.
- Support in planning Engineers workload, that should be shared equitably, together with Service coordinator
- Identify training requirements for Engineers to ensure correct competencies vs market demands
- First technical support of engineer during their assignment
- Monitor, report and support to achieve set KPIs for service department
- Collaborate and support work of other segment in the service department where necessary
- Develop and implement growth strategy in conjunction with the management

**You can help us with these qualifications**:

- University degree in Engineering and/or Marine engineering with related work experience or Comparable vocational education with related work experience
- Experience in reading drawings, technical documents, instructions, sketches/explanation of details and cross sectional drawings.
- Good Computer knowledge (Dedicated CRM tools, field service management tools and MS Office, MS Project).
- Detailed understanding of the business both technical and commercial levels
- At least 5-7 years practical experience in the field as a Marine service engineer that have lead job as a superintendent
- Fluency in English
- Understand and gain knowledge about Engineering products, equipment, customer base and applicable processes
- Fluency in English Language

Desirable
- Certified Project/contract Manager or similar training
- Experience in quality assurance
