Are you looking for a growth Procurement role that drives Lumpsum Turnkey projects from cradle to grave? The **Procurement Engineer** is responsible for the entire Procurement process for the CG Energy+ Business Unit.

The **Procurement Engineer** will achieve the best commercial terms to Pall on all goods and services procured from 3rd party suppliers, ensure that activities are carried out following PALL’s policies and procedures, develop a local supply base and the appropriate relationship with the suppliers that support the overall goals of the business, support the execution team with on-time delivery and on budget execution of projects, undertake and/or contribute to ongoing Sourcing initiatives that eliminate waste, drives continuous improvement and business growth.

This associate will partner with Program Management, Engineering, and Quality after the award to ensure smooth execution generate MME for the company, and eliminate any risk. The **Procurement Engineer** will be a part of the Global Integrated Supply Chain team and will be based onsite in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Solicit bids from vendors, review vendors’ responses, and coordinate with the discipline engineers to clarify pre-bid queries for compliance with requirements, perform pricing analysis, prepare commercial bid tabulations, conduct commercial negotiation, and draw conclusions on techno commercial requirements.
- Draft, handle, and negotiate all commercial matters pertaining to Purchase Orders. Obtain award acceptance from bidders. Perform a walk-on checklist to make vendors understand the scope.
- Ensure materials are purchased at or below the budget / standard cost to drive material savings and enhance the as-booked gross margins on our projects
- Develop project procurement plans and manage their execution.
- Maintain existing vendor relationships and initiate potential new vendor relationships. Continuously improve supplier performance and relationships through a documented and quantitative Supplier Evaluation Program.

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Preferably a Mechanical engineer with extensive experience in managing procurement processes and activities for at least 7 to 10 years.
- Experience in sourcing & procurement of engineered-to-order equipment for Oil & Gas Industries, and in reading and understanding T&Cs for identification of risks and ability to negotiate favorable terms with Pall.
- Arabic and English communication language skills.

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- Oil & Gas Industries
- Building, maintaining, and fostering relationships with suppliers.
- Experience in sourcing & procurement of engineered-to-order equipment.
