**Knowledge & Qualification**:

- Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeshipin welding practices. (Essential)
- Requirements for certification includes:
- 3G, 4G & 6G Welding Certification (qualification card) for each accomplished project till da te is must
- 6GR Welding Certification (qualification card) for each accomplished project till date is added advantage
- CWS (Certified Welding Supervisor) certification is preferred Basic safety training or Health and Safety qualifications. (Desirable)

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and control technicians performing work at the machining and welding shops.
- Responsible for supervising shop personnel related to piping fabrication & assembly required for successful completion of project.
- Supervise the activities and co-ordinate various aspects of project including inspections, material submissions and working drawings and processing documentation as required.
- Resolve difficulties and problems in discussion with the department Engineer.
- Coordinate with QHSE management and follow up work orders with production team for the purpose of scheduling and performing in-process, final inspection and testing for all products and welded and fabricated
equipment.
- Read, analyze and interpret blueprints, engineering design data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, certification processes, formulas, or
measuring instruments required.
- Ensure the functionality of mechanical system and safety of mechanical tests, both health and environmentally, utilizing the proper resources
- Monitoring and administering the QA/QC Plan and ensuring incorporated materials on all projects are in compliance with the plans and specifications.
- Assuring that the work is performed as required by the contract and meets or exceeds the required qualities.
- Assuring the acceptable quality of materials, processes, and workmanship in the project work.
- Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities.
- Controls equipment installation, alignment and leveling
- Performs functional checks and mechanical completion checks and Trays inspection (dimensional check, water tightness test).
- Checks of levelness, position, orientation, anchor bolts, etc.,
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ensure submission of all daily progress reports
- Knowledge of welding processes is a plus.
- Understand the work sequence and ensure that the work is performed accordingly, utilizing planned resources
in an efficient manner.
