Mechanical Foreman

1. Purpose
- To lead the Shift of Mechanical Technicians to carry out effective Breakdown and Preventative Maintenance of the Plant.
2. Responsibility
- To report to the Maintenance Shift Engineers.
3. Authority
- To write & sign daily project & maintenance reports, ID boom inspection reports, PM reports.
4. Main Tasks
- Lead & delegate the work of the Mechanical technicians and ensure that they work safety and to the required standard.
- Maintain the record of all the maintenance activities performed during the shift in the Mechanical Maintenance and Project Report.
- Coordinate with the Production Foreman and assign Mechanical Maintenance activities accordingly to ensure the maximum availability of all the machines for Production.
- Attend to all Mechanical breakdowns quickly and effectively to ensure minimum production downtime.
- Monitor and maintain all Mechanical Plant Services to ensure maximum availability.
- Ensure that all Mechanical work is carried out according to the Planned Preventative Maintenance system.
- Ensure that the technicians carry out housekeeping of Mechanic Workshop.
- Maintain all Mechanical Department tools, equipment and instrumentation is a safe and clean condition.
- Issue requisition for Mechanical material.

5. Other Task
- Training Saudi Technicians.
6. Minimum Qualification/ Experience
- Technical school certificate/diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2-3 years work experience in similar position
- Good communication skills in English
