**JOB PURPOSE**

BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

An exciting opportunity exists to join the BAE Systems majority owned Joint Venture company ‘Saudi Maintenance and Supply Chain Company’ (SMSCMC) as IF&P Data Analyst Team Leader.

The Supply Chain IF&P Data Analyst Team Leader is responsible to the Supply Chain Inventory Forecasting and Planning Manager for:
Developing the end-to-end data analysis capability within the Supply Chain employing the principles of the Data Analysis Pipeline across multiple supply chain and engineering datasets.

Supporting a culture of evidence based decision making across the supply chain and wider business.

Championing the benefits of appropriate data analysis across the business.

**JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES**

Responsible for the management of the Supply Chain Data Analysis function providing data-led guidance to the Supply Chain and wider business.

To provide a focal point for the management of all in-service data requests, liaising with multiple Functions within the business. Ensuring a stringent data management policy is implemented, to provide confidence in data accuracy to senior management and the wider business.

Liaise with all key stakeholders to perform trending and analysis activities in support of tactical and strategic decision making across multiple business functions.

Provide regular performance measures in line with KPI requirements and assist in the investigation of emergent issues.

Assist with the investigation and resolution of data quality issues.

Assist with the assessment of data integrity relating to aircraft components stored on the Supply Chain ERP system.

Lead the IF&P team with trending and root cause analysis.

Undertaking any additional, reasonable tasks as requested by SMSCMC management.

Providing management and support to structured On-the-Job training for Saudi National Supply Chain personnel.

**RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION**

Qualified to at least HNC level in a Computing discipline, with at extensive experience in a fast-paced Data Analysis / Decision Support environment - preferably within the aeronautical industry.

Broad experience of SQL, Excel, KPI build and reporting, data analysis tools and techniques.

Ideally from an Aeronautical background, to ensure familiarity current aviation practices, both military and civil and its data management requirements.
