Horticulturist

Performs duties relating to planting and caring of trees, vines, shrubs and other plants.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Carries out the directions and instructions of the supervisor. Acts in a lead capacity to oversee the plant and growing of trees, shrubs, turf grass, bedding plants and ground covers.

2. Performs seeding and makes cuttings in Greenhouse, Nursery and Hospital grounds.

3. Operates automated equipment such as irrigation equipment. Makes minor repair to this equipment.

4. Trains and guides lower graded personnel. Assists with scheduling of personnel.

5. Assists with preparation of reports relating to horticultural activities.

7. Follows all prescribed safety procedures.

8. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.

9. Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable.

**Education**:
Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture or a related field is required.

**Experience Required**:
Two (2) years of related experience is required.

**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
Saudi Driver's License — A driver's license from country of origin is necessary to obtain a Saudi Driver's License.
