**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
The Client is embarking upon a significant capital program to create the capital of entertainment, sports, and the arts in Riyadh. The program will be an integrated destination offering immersive experiences and memorable moments of delight. The program will involve parallel development and execution of a broad range of assets encompassing leisure, sports, cultural, retail, hospitality, religious, residential, transport and infrastructure.

The Senior Planner/ Planning Manager role is considered a key function to ensure effective management and delivery of assigned services and resources and provide the appropriate expertise to ensure that the Planning Services provided meet all client expectations and requirements within agreed timelines, budget, and quality. The role will also provide and seek regular feedback and input from the Senior Management team and Client stakeholders.

The following provides a summary of essential duties and responsibilities applicable to the role.

**Service Delivery**

Deliver accurate and timely plans and schedules services through:

- ensuring that each program is based on appropriate design information, duration sources and construction methods appropriate to the purpose of the program.
- ensuring each program is technically correct with clear identification of critical path(s)
- ensuring each program is based on optimal resource utilisation.
- ensuring that risks are identified and communicated to the project team.
- preserving all backup documentation throughout the process
- stat using of schedules and preparation of regular progress reports.
- briefing the Project Team to ensure that the program fundamental principles and details are understood by the Project Team and are transferred to the construction phase of the project.

**Planning**
- planning and scheduling own work to meet required timelines and outputs.
- understanding output & resource requirements and timelines for the time & cost process clarifying as appropriate
- regular updating of programs as design and construction work develops.

**Continuous Improvement**
- contributing to the sharing of knowledge and information within own Project /Tender/Team and with internal stakeholders
- keeping abreast of market lead times
- continually improve the quality of schedule presentation, information, and documentation
- consciously seeking ways to improve the provision and quality of services provided to the Project teams.

- creating and maintaining strong relationships and clear lines of communication with key stakeholders, project team and the client
- clarifying the needs of the Project Team to ensure the delivery of effective services.
- clarifying the needs of the client to ensure that the contents of the program are relevant and meet these needs.
- responding accurately and in a timely manner to client /project team queries regarding the content of the program submission

**Technical and speciality skills**:
Degree and/or postgraduate qualification in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management or relevant field of study.

15+ years’ experience working within Mega/large scale complex design and construction programs across private and/or government sectors. Proficient with the use of planning software including Primavera P6, Risk Analysis and Microsoft Project

Must have hands-on experience in delivering projects and have a strong technical and commercial working knowledge.
