**Job Overview**:
The Project Engineer will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and closing of engineering and construction projects in Jazan. The engineer will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the development of detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Participate in feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Oversee the engineering and construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project flow.
- Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Provide technical expertise and support during all project phases.
- Review and approve engineering and construction drawings, specifications, and other documents.
- Ensure that engineering solutions are practical, feasible, and cost-effective.
- Implement and manage quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Address and resolve any issues related to quality and compliance.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, progress updates, and technical records.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to the Project Manager and stakeholders.
- Ensure all project documents are filed and maintained systematically.
- Work closely with the project team, including architects, designers, engineers, and construction workers.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior engineers and staff.
- Promote and enforce strict adherence to HSE policies and regulations.
- Conduct safety meetings and ensure that all safety protocols are followed on-site.
- Investigate and report any accidents, incidents, or near-misses.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- ** Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- ** Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in large-scale construction projects.
- Proven experience in managing engineering projects from conception to completion.
- ** Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the construction industry.
- ** Soft Skills**:

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Effective team player with a collaborative approach to project delivery.

**Working Conditions**:

- Primarily based on-site at the Jazan project location.
- May require working extended hours, including weekends, to meet project deadlines.
- Frequent interaction with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
