21000.901 Land Surveyor

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Land Surveyor **to join our team In this role you will be responsible for the land survey works, measurements, and calculations in various construction and engineering projects.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations
- Check setting-out and levels.
- Conduct construction survey layout.
- Complete topographical surveys for as-built and quantities.
- Employing and operating specialized equipment such as GNSS, Levelling, Robotic Total Station, etc.
- Performing mathematical calculations to determine and confirm surveying measurements.
- Assist the Survey Supervisor and Chief Crew Surveyor in day-to-day onsite activities.
- Able to work in solo surveys.
- Notify the Survey Supervisor of any non-conformance.
- Ensure standards, procedures, and specifications are being met within Survey.
- Ensure all Survey requests are issued on time and in accordance with RC Procedures.
- Perform field tasks assigned by Royal Commission and/or Department Manager.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Technical diploma in a related field with a minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in land surveying and setting-out of works of similar nature

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Knowledge and/or experience in using CAD software and survey software, total station, data collectors and GNSS equipment.
- Working knowledge of construction sequences and standard work procedures of the industry.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate competently in English.
