- Ladle nozzle opening / lancing, Temperature, sampling
- Slag boxes and emergency slag boxes cleaning / changing
- Mould body changing, mould tube cleaning, oil ways cleaning
- Dummy bar packing / sealing, Oil tank topping up.
- Monitoring / reporting tundish level during casting.
- Strand preparation for casting, Sanding of tundish nozzles.
- Start of casting, slag fishing and end of casting.
- Strand operation in shifts, starting / restarting as and when required.
- Spray nozzle cleaning / changing during turn round / down day.
- Housekeeping in all CCM area
- To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
- To follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
- To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.
- To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
- To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
- To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
- To attend safety trainings planned for them.
- Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.
