Finance Manager for the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategies of the organization. This role involves managing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Finance Manager will work closely with senior management to drive financial performance and support business growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Planning and Analysis**:

- Develop and manage the financial planning process, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial modeling.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify trends, variances, and risks, and recommend corrective actions to achieve financial objectives.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Lead the annual budgeting process, working with various departments to create accurate and achievable budgets.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, providing variance analysis and recommendations.
- **Financial Reporting**:

- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of management reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- **Cost Management**:

- Analyze and control operational costs to improve profitability.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements.
- Monitor and report on food and labor costs, inventory management, and other key cost drivers.
- **Compliance and Internal Controls**:

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate policies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and address any findings.
- **Cash Flow Management**:

- Manage cash flow to ensure the company has adequate liquidity to meet its obligations.
- Optimize working capital by managing receivables, payables, and inventory levels.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and identify potential funding needs.
- **Team Leadership and Development**:

- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback and support.
- Collaborate with other departments to support their financial needs and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- **Strategic Support**:

- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives by providing financial analysis and due diligence.
- Participate in business planning and strategy development as a key member of the management team.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and expansion.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in the QSR or hospitality industry.
- Experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
- Proven track record of managing financial operations and leading finance teams.
- **Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards
