Superintendent, Shift

Shift Supdt Steel Making is resoponsible for all all operational activities in shift ,coordinating the Production and Service agencies for achieving the targetted production objectives complying with all safety and regulatory norms.

Working in close co-ordination with Sr. Manager to achieving production targets.
- Co-ordination with Scrap yard, EAF, LF, IF, CCM & all maintenance dep’t. To ensure smooth running of plant and process stabilization.
- Ensure and came to know about all activities of plant at the time of shift reliving.
- Responsible for production process improvement.
- Ensure quality production with safe working practice.
- Responsible for controlling delays by Analytical data.
- Responsible for analyzing failure & breakdowns on daily basis.
- Ensure availability of manpower & consumable materials.
- Responsible for all operations from scrap yard to finish good.
- Monitor employee’s attendance and reports abnormalities.
- Responsible to conduct safety training and analysis.
- Responsible for development activities and continual improvement.
- Stop card generation and analysis.
- Inform Sr. Manager Production for any problems persisting for more than 1/2 hour.
- Inform Manager / Sr. Manager in case of any abnormality.
- Monitor all work should be done in the plant with proper issuing work permit.
- Ensuring good housekeeping of all areas of plant during shift.
- Any job assigned by the seniors.
- Reports to Sr. manager Production at the end of shift.
