**THE INTERMEDIATE ELECTRICAL & SENIOR ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER** **ROLE**

Working closely with colleagues across multi-disciplinary practice, you will provide specialist consultancy input on projects across a wide range of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Critical Systems and Retail.

You will also lead ELV design packages and coordinate closely with stakeholders.

Under the guidance of our team of expert engineers this wide-ranging role will require you to carry out detailed Electrical Building Services engineering design and analysis, defining and translating clients’ needs into designs for buildings, facilities and services (electrical distribution and power generation, security and access control) all with sustainability at the forefront of the design. Knowledge and experience on MEP electrical and ELV designs is required for the role.

**THE INTERMEDIATE ELECTRICAL & SENIOR ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER** **ROLE REQUIREMENTS**
- Accredited with a MEng degree level (or equivalent) in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- Relevant experience in an electrical engineering role within a building services consultancy context and you are already well-versed in the use of relevant design software.
- You have a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, are able to manage your own time to meet deadlines and you have an appreciation of the commercial factors which affect design solutions.
- Given the collaborative and client-focused nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
- You should be able create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software.
- Comfortable liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, and the overall project manager.
- You will be expected to submit daily site reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports as required.
- Good knowledge of Dialux, Amtech and Revit.
