**Job Skills and Qualifications for a Welder Trainer**

**Education and Certification**:

- High school diploma or Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
- Certified Welder (CW) or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
- Additional certifications from the American Welding Society (AWS) or equivalent

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a welder in welding techniques
- Previous experience as a welding instructor or trainer is highly desirable

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in various welding techniques and processes
- Strong understanding of welding standards, codes, and safety procedures
