Head Waiter

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervise and Coordinate**: Oversee the activities of the waitstaff to ensure timely and professional service. Coordinate table allocations and manage reservations.
- **Training**: Train new and existing staff on proper service etiquette, menu offerings, and the use of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- **Customer Service**: Greet guests upon arrival and ensure their dining experience meets or exceeds expectations. Handle customer complaints and queries proficiently.
- **Quality Control**: Monitor and maintain the quality of service, ensuring all staff adhere to health and safety regulations and the restaurant’s standards.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist in the management of dining room supplies and equipment. Place orders and maintain inventory levels to avoid shortages.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the kitchen staff and other departments to ensure seamless service and promote a positive working environment.
- **Financial Transactions**: Oversee the processing of bills and payments, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
- **Event Management**: Assist in planning and managing events held at the restaurant.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Waiter, or similar supervisory role in a restaurant or hotel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and team management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality is a plus.

**Desired Skills**:

- Multilingual abilities.
- Certification in hospitality management.
