Valves Assembler

As a Valve Assembler, your mainly activities will be:
Control & ON/OFF valves Assembly as per customer orders from Valmet Sales offices according to the production plan.

Additionally, your activities include:

- Comply Valmet safety standards & ensure the safety of the team working around.
- Assembly of valve bodies, actuators and coupling together for Control & ON/OFF valves as per the planned schedule.
- Assembly of instruments and accessories on valves.
- Perform all additional requirements around the assembly of products: engraving and fitting of nameplates / tags.
- Calibration and final test of valves - Leak test, Hydro, Special Testing, and functional test.
- Fill, note, or record any required reports and or documentation.
- When customer inspection takes place, assist the customer in carrying out final acceptance test upon requirement.
- Assembly to be performed as per instruction manuals, procedures & drawings.
- Work with paint shop team to ensure the paint touch-up activities in timely manner.
- Responsible for maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Update production related issues on daily toolbox talk.
- Any other duties as assigned.

What you will need to be successful in the role:
You can be either an experienced professional or a newly graduated - the key point is your attitude and willingness to learn You like to assemble different types of valves & actuators.

To be successful in this role, you will need in addition:

- Relevant educational background such as diploma in instrumentation/mechanical engineering.
- Experience in Control & ON/OFF Valves industry world is a plus. You do not need to have experience in Valmet portfolio, but experience in similar products is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure in different operations situations and in different cultural environments.
- Passion for delivering best results and for collaborating with your colleagues.
- Fluent in English. Other languages are plus.
