Required Experience:
Minimum 4 years of experience in the Quality field.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Make sure identification of master gauges and standard gauges are available in the system
- Evaluate measuring tools and equipment as operating instructions and calibration requirements
- Perform daily gauges set up and calibration as per the production schedule
- Assets incoming inspection by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials.
- Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor.
- Read engineering drawings, approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizes re-work and waste, and inputs data into a quality database.
- Utilize measuring devices such as meters, gauges, computers, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
- Helping and co-ordination in QMS, EMS, safety procedures, and implementation.
- Co-ordinate with internal audit and external audit.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- ITI/Diploma in mechanical/ production/ Industrial/ metallurgy/ Fabrication technology
- Experience and knowledge in quality inspection and gauges technicians
- Knowledge of physical tests like tensile tests, hardness tests, and Charpy-impact tests for the castings and samples.
- Literacy in computer (MS office)
- Capable to read engineering drawings.
- Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor.
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
- Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements, and calling for repairs.
- Understanding and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Experience with measuring devices such as meters, gauges, computers, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge/experience in coating and welding inspection.
- Basic Knowledge of QMS, EMS, safety procedures, and implementation.
- Capable to coordinate with internal audit and external audits.
- Different quality tools certifications are preferable (NDT, coating inspector, welding inspector, TQM, 6 Sigma, etc.).
