We are seeking an experienced
**Contract Manager** for Supply Chain to join us at our new office headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

**POSITION OVERVIEW**
- Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Director and liaises with the VP of Legal Affairs & Compliance.
- The Contract Manager is responsible for enterprise-wide agreements for Purchased Services or other strategic categories as assigned, ensuring that timelines are met, terms are satisfactory, and pricing is superior.
- This role ensures that the contracts & projects within this service line result in cost efficient, high quality goods and services throughout AMI Healthcare and its managed hospitals.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Works closely and proactively with senior hospital leadership and internal Supply Chain including PHS Purchasing, Content Management and Conversion Teams, Accounts Payable, Business Operations, and onsite logistics to support patient care, supply services and implementation.
- Negotiates cost, terms and conditions with suppliers using requests for proposals / information / acceptance, negotiations and analyses in accordance to Supply Chain’s policies & procedures and accepted strategies and plans.
- Drafts contractual agreements, amendments and addenda with input from legal counsel when applicable, to assure that Partners' organizational assets are protected, and risks mitigated.
- Provides summary of proposals from multiple suppliers to customers in a clear, concise and accurate manner providing all supporting information.
- Manages suppliers throughout the term of the agreement according to contract & business terms set forth in the agreement.
- Deliver on annual savings goals by proactively seeking opportunities to consolidate suppliers where applicable, and work closely with clinicians, managers, and peers, to develop and reduce costs, eliminate inventory redundancy, improve upon supply chain processes, and manage resources and item conversions within the system.
- Serves on and leads committees relating to the service line (ex: food service committee, facilities EVS) and acts as a liaison for those needing assistance within Supply Chain.
- Responds to all questions related to the service line in a prompt & professional manner and in accordance with departmental service level expectations.
- Work closely with members of Finance, IT, Legal, HR and Business Owners throughout the contracting and negotiating lifecycle.
- Stays current on industry best practices and continuously improve knowledge.

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**:

- **Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience**

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years experience in a contracting role with a focus on contracting with purchased services.
- Knowledge of healthcare supply chain management principles and concepts in the areas of procurement and contracts as well as cost analysis, distribution and compliance.
- Understanding of intellectual property rights, risk assessment, and compliance.
- With guidance and oversight from manager, Individual must be able to use knowledge about suppliers and category to executive strategies, create leverage, and mitigate risks including, but not limited to, understanding the following factors of the supplier: ownership, organizational structure, key contacts, product / service offering and market share position, historical performance (customer service, quality, etc.), where products are manufactured, assembled, raw materials / API and other supply chain information of supplier.
- Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain best practices.
- Expertise in contract negotiations, cost savings, vendor management, and customer service.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing a high volume of work effectively.

**Skills, Abilities & Behaviors**:

- Excellent oral, written communication skills, and presentation skills with ability to independently build a slide deck in accordance with AMI requirements and to present in front of board members and key stakeholders (clinicians, supply chain, physicians or other executives).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Word, PowerPoint. and Excel; familiarity with contract repository tool, and SharePoint administration is a plus.
- Accountable, self-driven and responsible individual who thrives in a team environment.
- Detail oriented, organized, and an able to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
- Comprehend, and interpret complex instructions, proposals, and contract language.
- Ability to build credibility to drive change with professionals throughout the organization.
