Currently, we are seeking a dynamic person to take on the role
** Head of HSSE** of based in Al Khobar.

**Objective**:

- Lead the health, safety and environment in the country and provide input to and lead the implementation of functional strategy to mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments and provide employees with a safe and healthy working environment in line with the country’s business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines, and policies.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for working with the Country Operations Excellence Led to deliver the Company strategy for employee safety, including safety related aspects of occupational health within the Country.
- Manage/review/investigate safety related incidents within area of responsibility and report findings and causation using root cause analysis techniques.
- Provide support for safety training whenever possible. Programmed such as Operational Essentials Training and Supervisor Training would be within scope.
- Manage the implementation of the Safety-First Framework at all locations within the Country
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to the Site Safety Champions.
- Assess the required compliance with the Company requirements with regards to safety issues. Review these to assess their compatibility within Country.
- Ensure HSE statutory and regulatory compliance within Country, ensuring adherence to European and local legislation/regulations for the country.
- Identify and advise on effective strategies needed to improve HSE performance thereby achieving key Country performance targets and objectives.
- Periodically review the safety KPI's, leading and lagging indicators, informing the Country Senior Management of your findings. Advise on strategy to ensure continual improvement.
- Be familiar with the company Safety Toolkits and ensure that they are used by the Site Safety Teams
- Effectively manage and review the LOGICS database to ensure that the Sites are utilizing it correctly. Review all modules to ensure that the system is kept up to date with the minimum of outstanding tasks. Promote the input of near miss reports and BBS Conversations.
- Provide support and guidance to Start Up Operations to ensure that the site has as many of the safety BASICS in place as is reasonably practicable at Go Live
- Effectively advise and manage the deployment of Behavior Based Safety techniques within the country

**Qualification**:

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Finance, Economics, Industrial Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, and Logistics Management or equivalent.
- NEBOSH International Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health is required. (mandatory)
- MBA in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration. (Preferable)
- 10+ Years’ Experience in related field, with at least 5 years of leadership in large organization.

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Good knowledge / understanding of Supply Chain business (Warehouse / Transport) and operational procedures.
- Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines.
- Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Convey clear, timely, persuasive verbal/written messages that positively influence the thoughts and actions of others.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills.
- Focuses on customer needs and gains their commitment and maintains effective relationship with customers.
- Support Region Head (VP) on specific and project requirements and IKO completion.
- Development of Site Safety Champions.
- Safety awareness and safety training programmers implemented.
- Safety incident reporting, investigation and root cause analysis initiated.
