Quantity Surveyor

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Quantity Surveyor **to join our team In this role you will get to assist Senior Project Managers in the administration of the project and manage project budgeting, controlling of cash flow and cost, processing of claims, contract payment and settlement of final accounts as well as maintaining proper documentation..

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Take ownership of the financial and contractual aspects of the multiple work packages.
- Lead in the preparation of variation orders.
- Lead in the evaluation of claims.
- Advice on contractual matters related to financial issues.
- Ensure completeness and validity of all contractual requirements.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 10+ years post graduate demonstrable experience in all aspects of quantity surveying.
- Excellent written contractual correspondence and verbal communication skills.
- Must have a clear understanding of, and ability to work with, construction contract commercial documents, engineering drawings and specifications, and be qualified to be a QS team leader.
- Working knowledge of software typically associated with quantity surveying and familiarity with typical project controls software
