**ole description:
T**

ake ownership of small commercial/regeneration/residential projects, or components of cost management assignments, ensuring standards of delivery meet defined objectives. Responsible for delivering their scope of work in line with various controls, and will have significant technical knowledge and experience in their field
R

**ole accountabilities:

- **

Work independently within established financial systems to monitor and review project costs and variances on small commercial/regeneration/residential projects, in order to control cost variables
- eliver/assist to manage pre-contract medium to large scale cost projects or significant components of cost management assignments, ensuring the delivery of the required scope of work within set deadlines
- nderstand and comply with business risk and present any project concerns or issues to senior managers to ensure the project is not adversely impacted
- rovide advice to colleagues on principles of risk management, to ensure adherence to the organisation’s risk and compliance processes
- nalyse and review a range of data to collate trends and prepare documentation such as delivery plans, providing advice and making recommendations to support cost and commercial management decision-making
- se own knowledge and experience to review and analyse existing cost and commercial management processes and policies, sharing knowledge and taking an active involvement in service improvement and innovation
- rovide specialist technical advice and guidance within area, supporting others with cost management queries and actively sharing knowledge in order to inform colleagues and provide a high level of service to clients
- ollaborate with external stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of their needs in order to resolve stakeholder issues and provide quality client care, contributing to ongoing client satisfaction
- ossess the skills and experience to actively support the internal team and manage more junior staff on projects
Q

**ualifications & Experience:

- **
- achelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent in a relevant discipline. MRICS qualification is an advantage
- t least 10-15 years experience, heavily focused on estimation and pre-contract activities with an international consultancy
- n-depth technical knowledge of specialised field, including construction processes and cost and commercial management of mixed-use building developments
- emonstration of self-management and prioritisation skills with the ability to work under pressure
- xcellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to influence stakeholders and third parties
- apable of taking a project through from inception to completion as part of the PMC team
- xperience in delivering analysis and insights
- ttainment of OR near attainment of relevant professional certification or chartered status
