**About the Team**

Careem Grocery is on a mission to reinvent the way people shop for grocery products. As an exciting new vertical within Careem (a startup within a startup), we’re in the early stages of building our product and have plenty of interesting and fundamental challenges to solve in order to achieve our ambitious growth goals in this burgeoning space.

**What you’ll do**

As an Operations Manager for Rider Supply at Careem Grocery, you'll play a critical role responsible for rider acquisition, performance, partnerships; and managing the day-to-day operations in the most effective manner. This is a unique opportunity to make a genuine impact, reporting directly to the Regional Head of Operations.
- Oversee rider acquisition, performance, and partnership operations.
- Engage and develop the rider network to promote retention and performance.
- Enforce operational guidelines and SOPs, addressing process, system, and reporting gaps.
- Manage operational escalations, providing creative solutions and conducting root cause analyses.
- Propose and test innovative ideas for rider ops improvements.
- Understand and track core KPIs related to experience, acquisition, and performance.
- Encourage process improvements, resolving team escalations in a timely manner.
- Monitor and analyze relevant metrics, providing strategic solutions based on data insights.
- Lead budget-conscious initiatives, running financially impactful experiments.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team, ensuring knowledge sharing and professional growth.

**What you'll need**
- 4-6 years of experience in a similar domain (rider operations, last-mile ).
- Proven managerial experience.
- Strong people management and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with SQL and data analysis, extraction, reporting, and presentation.
- Proven operational excellence in execution and process formulation.

**Where You'll Be**

This role is based in Riyadh, and requires in-person work. You'll primarily be situated in our office location, with occasional visits to various dark stores across Riyadh. Our offices provide collaboration-friendly spaces to enhance teamwork and social connections. You must be based out of the country you're hired from as your primary work location due to legal and compensation considerations.
