**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Abides by the Medical Staff Bylaws, Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and
Regulations of the Medical Staff and those specific to the department/division.

3.2. Provides the highest attainable standard of medical care for the patients forwhom
he/she is responsible.

3.3. Carries out full range of inpatient and outpatient clinical duties as assigned by the
director of departmenttread of division in accordance with individually approved
clinical privileges.

3.4. Participates in the on-call duties as required by the department/division

3.5. Teaches staff assigned for training purposes, and panicipates with the director of
departrnenttread of division and Director of Postgraduate and Academic Affairs in
planning a prograrnme of career development for trainees.

3.6. Participates in the improvement of quality of patient care (Total Quality
Management Programme, Quality Assessment improvement Programme) as
applicable.

**Skills**:
6.1. Self-motivated and with awareness of current trends in the field.

6.2. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

6.3. Ability to speak, write and read Arabic and English.
