**2. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE**:
**Coordinate and oversee all logistics activities (related to transport) to ensure operations are conducted with a primary focus on maximizing efficiency (time, accuracy, product quality, safety and cost) and guarantee lead times and availability fulfilling requirements of end users, in compliance to legal and regulatory requirements and Ma'aden procedures**

**3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**:
**Qualification**:
**1. National Higher Diploma or equivalent plus min 4 years experience**
**2.Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, finance, or business administration plus min 2 years relevant experience**
**3. CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) advantages
**Experience**:
**2 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain

- **Execute and oversee the day to day chartering, operating of vessels and managing Ma’aden dry bulk, containers and product fleets**
- **Participate in contracting, planning, scheduling, execution and monitoring of all relevant transportation (dry bulk, shipping and other appropriate transportation of product) with the objective of improving on time delivery and minimizing logistics cost**
- **Participate in related freight markets intelligence and related reports, building strong networks with service providers/ shipping industry, calculation of logistics capacity units, comparing planned capacity with contracted capacity; ensuring availability of required logistics capacity**
- **Participate in preparing and executing rolling logistics plan for department/SBU/Affiliate**
- **Analyse and assist to recommend potential logistics solutions to improve fleet utilization in cost effective manner, preserving safety and product quality**
- **Perform duties to ensure compliance with Ma’aden’s regulatory framework, maritime laws, regulations and guidelines for shipping (safety, environmental concerns, legal matters, technical co-operation, and maritime security)**
- **Participate to coordinate and execute shipping related activities (develop shipping capacity for all products to meet commercial plan, estimate new shipment capacity and budgets required, shipping agreements, demand planning, communications to stakeholders, shipping schedules, dealing with FOB and FCA, price negotiations, payments, freight reports and reporting, etc.)**
- **Prepare and assist to review of all required logistics documents (e.g. charter party, COA's, freight invoices, LOI etc) to ensure on time delivery to customers**
- **Report to senior specialists/management any deviation in business plan and objectives (especially in shipping/transport timeliness, accuracy and cost) in order to ensure execution of each activity as per the business plan and to adjust business plan to incorporate deviation**
- **Participate with performance monitoring (develop performance indexes, reviewing existing process systems/methods/procedures, costs of operating vessels/fleet, actual cost versus market levels, etc.)**
- **Responsible for effective supplier and customer relationship management (frequent communication and updates, handling of complaints until finally resolved, dealing with new requirements, etc.)**
- **Contribute to the product development process (product testing, technology analysis, analysis on logistics requirements, cost, etc.)**
- **Assist to consolidate data and prepare analysis for market studies related to freight markets (Dry bulk, liquid, containers, land transportation, etc.)**
