We have an exciting opportunity in the Saudi Arabia & Bahrain Finance organization to hire Financial Analyst to be based Dhahran Techno Valley, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

**Job Description
The Financial Analyst role supports the business at Emerson’s Automation Solutions platform. The role has a broad scope to include financial and tax reporting, external and internal audits, process enhancements, portfolio forecasting, planning and analysis, as well as driving various finance initiatives that spread across functional teams.

**Job Responsibilities
Audit:

- Lead external and internal audits including investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies and issues of non-compliance.
- Take complete responsibility of IKTVA and Local Content quarterly reporting and annual audits, be the key point of contact for external auditors and internal stakeholders

Financial Analysis:

- Lead planning and reporting cycles for assigned portfolios including analysis activities.
- Detailed periodic financial analysis, comparing actuals to business expectations, identifying any material variances. This requires a good understanding of the individual business units, together with understanding the importance of building good communication channels with business unit Finance teams
- Assist in monthly reporting and forecasting activities in partnership with Sales and finance with particular emphasis on regional SG&A expenses and headcount reporting.
- Partner with GL and Regional Accounting team to support and assist with review of month end closing activities and reporting.
- Build collaborative relationships with Business Unit Finance, Word Area Finance, Controllership and Operating teams.
- Support financial reporting on all aspects of business on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

Tax Reporting:

- Work closely with tax consultant to provide timely responses to ZATCA audit inquiries.
- Be Responsible for monthly WHT and VAT returns filling with ZATCA, this includes reviewing the draft returns prepared by team, resolving review points, coordinating the review and filling with tax consultant and tax payments.
- Work closely with regional and shared services tax team to ensure key tax to GL reconciliations e.g. Custom Bayans, Sales, purchases, Input/Output VAT etc are performed on monthly basis for all entities within region.
- Other financial analysis work assigned by line manager

**Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university.
- 5 years of Big 4/Corporate Accounting or Finance experience.
- Process oriented and strong data management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a global environment.
- Works well with ambiguity and in matrix environment.
- Experience with Oracle and Hyperion preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of data downloads, complex formulas and pivot tables
- Experience in IKTVA reporting desirable but not essential
- Willingness to learn and grow with the business
