**Preferred Experience / Skills**:
**Position Requirements**
- 0-1 years experience in a planning role
- Experience using an ERP system functionality in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of Material Planning, Inventory Control, and MRP processes; APICS certification a plus
- Exhibit and support company core values and behaviors
- Competent in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

**Preferences**
- BS ( Mechanical) in related academic field
- Exhibit good organizational skills, with the ability to calmly prioritize demands
- Possess good initiative and inquisitiveness to learn
- Lean certification (green belt, black belt)-Optional

**Responsibilities & Requirements**:Key Accountabilities**
- Enter, maintain, and update Planning parameters for Master Data elements within ERP system, including Material Master, Work Center, Routing
- Review and manage BOM structure in ERP system
- Create and maintain Rough-cut Routers to match project plan (Engineering-to-Order environments)
- Create purchase requisitions as per MRP for purchasing to execute
- Create and release Production Orders in line with MRP and shop-floor requirements
- Manage planning exception messages and provide feedback on plan fulfilment
- Effective detailed in-house capacity planning by work center to ensure supply plan meets the demand plan
- Check and report material availability to meet production plan
- Actively pursue opportunities for inventory optimization
