**Requirements**:
**Qualification: API 510, 570 certifications**

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in petroleum industry.

Must have a broad knowledge in maintenance, inspection, repair, and alteration of in-service metallic piping systems.

Must have a broad knowledge relating to the maintenance, inspection, repair, and alteration of pressure vessels.

**Job Role**
- **Inspecting Equipment**: API inspectors evaluate a variety of equipment such as pressure vessels, storage tanks, pipelines, and process piping to ensure they meet API standards for safety and integrity.
- **Testing and Assessing**: They conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques, such as ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, and magnetic particle inspection, to identify cracks, corrosion, or other issues.
- **Reviewing Compliance**: Inspectors ensure that materials, fabrication, and installation practices comply with API standards. They also review documentation to confirm adherence to regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
- **Reporting Findings**: After inspections, they create detailed reports documenting any defects, irregularities, or maintenance needs and provide recommendations for repair or further assessment.
- **Ensuring Safety and Efficiency**: By identifying potential problems early, API inspectors help prevent equipment failures, accidents, or environmental hazards, ensuring the smooth and safe operation of critical infrastructure.
