المملكة العربية السعودية, Saudi Arabia Horizon Global Partners LLC Full time

As an Acoustic Designer, your role is to design and optimize the acoustic environment of various spaces, including buildings, auditoriums, concert halls, recording studios, and theaters. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure optimal sound quality, noise control, and overall acoustic performance. Your responsibilities will include acoustic modeling, analysis, design recommendations, and project coordination.

**Responsibilities**
- Acoustic Modeling and Analysis: Use specialized software and tools to model and analyze the acoustic characteristics of spaces. Conduct acoustic simulations and measurements to assess sound propagation, reverberation, echo, and other acoustic parameters. Analyze and interpret data to identify potential acoustic issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Design Recommendations: Provide design recommendations to architects, engineers, and clients to achieve desired acoustic outcomes. Collaborate on the selection and placement of acoustic materials, such as absorbers, diffusers, and reflectors, to optimize sound quality, speech intelligibility, and noise control. Advise on the design of room geometry, dimensions, and surface treatments for optimal acoustic performance.
- Sound Isolation and Noise Control: Design solutions for sound isolation and noise control to ensure acoustic privacy and minimize unwanted noise transmission between spaces. Recommend appropriate construction techniques, materials, and insulation to achieve desired sound attenuation levels
- Room Acoustics Design: Design and optimize the room acoustics of performance venues, recording studios, and other specialized spaces. Consider factors such as audience size, seating arrangement, stage configuration, and equipment placement to achieve the desired sound clarity, balance, and immersive experience.
- Audiovisual Systems Integration: Collaborate with audiovisual engineers to integrate acoustic design with audiovisual systems. Coordinate the design and placement of speakers, microphones, amplifiers, and other audio equipment to ensure optimal sound reproduction and reinforcement.
- Acoustic Measurements and Testing: Conduct on-site acoustic measurements and testing to verify and validate acoustic design parameters. Use sound level meters, analyzers, and other specialized equipment to assess sound quality, speech intelligibility, and compliance with acoustic standards and regulations.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of acoustic design with overall building or space design. Collaborate on design reviews, coordination meetings, and project milestones. Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed design documentation, including acoustic reports, drawings, specifications, and technical guidelines. Ensure accuracy and clarity in documentation to facilitate construction, procurement, and regulatory compliance.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on emerging trends, research, and best practices in acoustic design. Attend conferences, seminars, and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of acoustics.
- Client Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their acoustic requirements, explain design concepts, and address any concerns. Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships throughout the project. - Other tasks assigned by HgP.
