**Job Summary**:
The Tower Crane Driver will be responsible for operating and controlling tower cranes used in the construction of buildings, bridges, and other structures. The role requires a keen understanding of load capacity, safety regulations, and construction site protocols to ensure smooth operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Operate Tower Crane**: Safely operate the tower crane to lift, move, and position materials as per site requirements.
- **Inspect Equipment**: Conduct daily inspections of the crane to ensure it is functioning correctly and report any defects or maintenance needs.
- **Load and Unload Materials**: Lift and place building materials (e.g., steel, concrete) with precision to designated locations.
- **Follow Safety Protocols**: Adhere to all safety guidelines and industry standards to prevent accidents or damage to the site.
- **Collaborate with Site Teams**: Communicate effectively with signalers, riggers, and other construction team members to ensure smooth operations.
- **Monitor Load Capacity**: Ensure the crane is not overloaded and operate within the specified weight and load limits.
- **Maintain Records**: Keep a daily log of crane activities and report any incidents or malfunctions.
- **Emergency Procedures**: Be familiar with and able to execute emergency and troubleshooting procedures for crane operation.
**Qualifications**:
- **License**: Valid tower crane operator certification/license.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of experience in operating tower cranes on construction sites.
- **Physical Fitness**: Must be physically fit to climb cranes and handle heavy loads.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Understanding of crane operations, load capacities, and mechanical systems.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to follow instructions and maintain focus on safety protocols.
- **Team Player**: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with on-site teams.
**Work Conditions**:
- Working at heights in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work extended hours or weekends if required.
