WSP Middle East are currently looking for a Graduate Health & Safety Engineer to be based in KSA.

**Your new role, what's involved?**
- **Risk Assessment**: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential health and safety hazards in the workplace, including chemical, biological, physical, and ergonomic hazards.
- **Safety Inspections**: Perform regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and work processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- **Incident Investigation**: Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents to determine root causes and develop preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- **Safety Training**: Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees to increase awareness and promote safe work practices.
- **Safety Policies and Procedures**: Review and update safety policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- **Emergency Response Planning**: Participate in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and procedures to effectively respond to workplace emergencies.
- **Safety Data Analysis**: Analyze safety data, including injury and illness records, near miss reports, and safety performance metrics, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- **Safety Culture Promotion**: Promote a positive safety culture within the organization by encouraging employee participation, recognition of safety achievements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Stay current with health and safety regulations and standards relevant to the industry and ensure organizational compliance.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, managers, and health professionals, to address safety-related issues and implement effective solutions.

**We'd love to hear from you if you have**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Health and Safety.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
- Relevant internships or co-op experiences in health and safety engineering is a plus.
