Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Construction Engineer Raft **to join our team In this role you will perform all aspects of field engineering assignments including development of plans, schedules, contracts, procedures, and construction methods and systems for an assigned project, or a designated area of a large project

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Work with architects and other engineers to develop detailed construction plans and specifications and work with contractors to develop cost estimates and project schedules.
- Oversee the construction process to ensure that it is completed according to the plans and specifications.
- Monitor the progress of the project and identify and resolve any problems that arise.
- Responsible for ensuring that the construction project meets NEOM quality standards with the Quality department.
- Responsible for implementing NEOM safety proceduresand support HSW on conduct of safety inspections and training to ensure that workers are aware of and follow safety procedures.
- Communicate and coordinate with THE LINE stakeholders, including architects, contractors, subcontractors, and NEOM sectors and proponents.

**Knowledge**
- Construction materials and processes with understanding of the different materials and processes used in construction
- Use structural analysis to calculate the forces and stresses that will be exerted on a structure and to ensure that it is safe and stable during construction
- Basic understanding of geotechnical engineering for foundation construction
- Ability to identify and solve complex problems quickly and efficiently.
- Able to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government officials.

Lead and manage teams of people
- Able to plan, schedule, and budget construction projects effectively
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering software.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- 4-year degree in engineering or construction-related field with 5 years construction-related work experience in the construction on mega projects including bridges, tunnels, foundations for big towers.
- Have exposure to waterproofing, seismic movement, expansion, and contraction.
- Hands-on experience with construction materials and processes.
- Experience working on construction projects of varying sizes and complexities especially in the Middle East.
- Good understanding of the construction industry, including the latest trends and technologies
- Conflict resolution skills between different stakeholders.
- Able to adapt to changing conditions and unexpected challenges. Able to pay close attention to detail to ensure that their designs and plans are accurate and safe.
- Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc.
- Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
