Middle East Mattress Factory CO. Sealy is looking for an enthusiastic Retail Salesperson to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and promoting our high-quality mattress products. You will engage with customers, understand their needs, and help them find the perfect sleep solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Welcome customers and assist them in selecting the right mattress and bedding products based on their requirements.
- Provide detailed product knowledge and demonstrations to customers, highlighting the benefits of Sealy's offerings.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall performance of the retail outlet.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed recommendations to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
- Participate in promotional events and marketing initiatives to attract new customers.
**Requirements**:
**Education**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in retail management or sales is a plus.
- English Language is a must.
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a mattresses or furniture or home goods environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
**Skills and Competencies**- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of mattress products and sleep solutions is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Flexibility to work two shifts.
