Eram Talent, a top-tier recruitment consultancy with global offices, is seeking an Operator-DSO for a leading company in the Water treatment and utilities sector. As part of your responsibilities, you will work among experienced professionals who collaborate to provide optimal solutions for their clients. Your work will be essential to keep the gas plants running and maintained.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to Plant Shift charge Engineer(SCE) and fully responsible for manage Isolation and De-isolation of the High Voltage equipment’s during duty shift periods
- Perform switching of the loads as per SCE instruction.
- Work Direction: Maintain constant contact with area operators (Control Room Operator, Pump Station Operator and Chlorine plant Operator) to ensuring normal operating conditions.
- Activity Logging: Monitor and log all operating activities ensuring that entries are accurate, complete and timely.
- Incident Response Role: Provide immediate first-line response capability in the event of emergencies or major incidents in order to eliminate or limit potential loss or damage to personnel, assets and the environment.
- Ensure incoming shift operator is fully briefed of current operating status and significant events during previous shift to ensure seamless hand-over of responsibilities
- Ensuring the compliance with Electrical safety (PTWC and LOTO ) as per existing company Standard’s / procedures.
- Communicate with internal customers ( Operators and Maintenance team) to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the plant.**Requirements**:

- Graduate in Diploma, Electrical Engineering. With minimum 05 years’ Experience handling 115 / 13.8 /4.16 KV Switchgears.
- Knowledge of principles and best practices of Electrical systems like power transformers, protection relays feeder management relays and bus bar synchronization.
- Understanding and Reading Electrical, Instrument drawing for smooth Switching operation.
- Thorough knowledge of Operation and maintenance standards and practices on electrical systems.
- Experience of co-operating minimum 05 to 10 personnel on field.
- Good knowledge of English and must express and communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. ( Level-2 of iTEP test).
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Knowledge of basic Electrical Safety.
- Preferable having experience similar in Sea Water cooling systems.
