The responsibility of the Kitchen Equipment and AC Technician entails installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment for the food and beverage clients of a facilities services company. Key duties involve efficiently prioritizing and scheduling work orders to steer clear of peak times, maintaining a consistent workflow. This role encompasses proactive troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, emphasizing compliance with safety standards. Success in this position hinges on possessing strong technical expertise, organizational proficiency, problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and effective communication.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety standards.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in equipment promptly and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
- Inspection of different categories of equipment & generating detailed and categorized reports.
- Meticulous daily & weekly planning: Updating service ticket statuses, priorities & scheduling.
- Creation of preventative maintenance checklists & schedules indicating SoW for equipment.
- Reading contracts to create preventative maintenance work order schedules on CMMS.
- Performance of preventative maintenance tasks according to the schedule and priorities.
- Performance of surveys, reports & quote generation for reactive maintenance.
- Awareness of the local market for inventory sourcing & stock management.
- Company asset management & maintenance.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment specifications.
- Sharp estimation of time required to complete each job from experience.
- Offering technical advice and upselling of services to clients.
- Maintenance of supplier details for parts & inventory.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.
- Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed for each maintenance AMC.
- Register, maintain and reconcile ECA (petty cash) on a periodic basis.
- Maintenance of specifications & user manuals for all equipment under AMC for phone support.
- Self-nomination for training & technical skills development.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of technical services.
