**OSP Supervisor - Telecom Infrastructure**

**Role Overview**: As an OSP (Outside Plant) Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing the construction and maintenance of the telecom infrastructure, with a specialization in fiber optic networks. Your role involves managing field teams, ensuring the proper splicing, termination, and testing of fiber cables using OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer) and OLT (Optical Line Terminal) equipment. You ensure that all work adheres to industry standards and project timelines.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Field Supervision**: Manage and supervise the daily activities of the OSP field teams involved in the installation, splicing, and maintenance of fiber optic cables.
- **Fiber Splicing and Termination**: Oversee and perform fiber optic splicing and termination tasks to ensure strong, reliable connections within the network.
- **Testing and Quality Assurance**: Use OTDR and OLT equipment to test and certify fiber optic cables, ensuring that the installations meet performance standards.
- **Project Coordination**: Ensure that OSP projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and meet all safety and quality standards.
- **Problem Resolution**: Troubleshoot and resolve fiber optic issues during installation, repair, and testing, ensuring mínimal network downtime.
- **Collaboration with Teams**: Work closely with engineers, contractors, and project managers to coordinate the timely delivery of network infrastructure projects.

**Technical Expertise**:

- Proficient in fiber optic splicing and termination techniques.
- Experienced in using OTDR and OLT for fiber testing and diagnostics.
- Solid understanding of telecom infrastructure design, including conduit layouts and cable pathways.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
