**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **System Integration Testing**: Perform end-to-end integration testing of banking systems, including core banking systems, mobile banking apps, payment gateways, and third-party services.
- **Test Plan and Test Case Creation**: Design comprehensive SIT test plans, test cases, and scenarios based on functional and integration requirements.
- **Data Integrity and Consistency**: Validate the consistency and accuracy of data exchanged between integrated systems and ensure that business rules are applied correctly.
- **Error and Defect Reporting**: Identify and document defects, inconsistencies, and errors during testing using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM). Work with developers and business analysts to resolve issues.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure integration requirements are met.
- **Compliance and Security Testing**: Ensure that integrated systems comply with industry regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR) and adhere to banking security standards.
- **Regression Testing**: After integration changes or updates, conduct regression testing to ensure no adverse impact on the system’s functionality.
- **Performance Testing**: Test the performance of integrated systems to ensure that they can handle high transaction volumes typical in a banking environment.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, results, defects, and issues. Generate reports for stakeholders on the status of integration testing.
- **Final Validation**: Perform final validation of the integrated system before it goes live to ensure that all business-critical systems function properly in a production environment.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in **System Integration Testing** (SIT) within the **banking** or **financial services** industry.
- Strong understanding of banking systems and products, such as account management, payments, loans, credit cards, and mobile banking apps.
- Familiarity with integration testing tools (e.g., **SOAP UI**, **Postman**, **JMeter**, or similar).
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as **JIRA**, **HP ALM**, or similar.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., **PCI-DSS**, **GDPR**) and security protocols in the banking sector.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with **Agile** and **Waterfall** methodologies.
- Experience with automation testing (optional but a plus).

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- **Certification** in Software Testing (e.g., ISTQB).
- Familiarity with **API Testing** and integration between systems using RESTful services.
- Experience with performance/load testing tools.
- Knowledge of **middleware** or **service-oriented architecture (SOA)**.
