IT Specialist

**Overview**

IT Specialist is responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related activities in school, help determine the IT needs of an organization and are responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate, design, install, configure and maintain the computer network infrastructure.
- Monitor network to ensure network availability at optimum bandwidth to all system users and perform necessary periodic planned or unplanned maintenance to support network availability.
- Supervision of maintenance operations and work towards improving support calls resolution time.
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of computer servers, manage and maintain students’ data accounts.
- Analyze, suggest and install Online solutions (like Microsoft Teams) to run the school virtually.
- Derive mechanism to provide technical support to students on campus and attending virtually from their homes.
- Ensure smooth broadcast of school events online to parents and students at their homes during pandemic situation.
- Correspondence regarding Maintenance requests, Repairs and Purchase Requisitions.
- Preparation, Research, Designing and Editing of various Media for Projects.
- Supervision of maintenance operations and work towards improving support calls resolution time.
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of computer servers, manage and maintain students’ data accounts.
- Maintain and optimize existing computer infrastructure.
- Supervision of school's ERP system and keeping it updated.

**Education & Experience**:

- Minimum Bachelors in IT field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT field
- Must have experience of leading a team
- IT certifications will be a plus

Residents of KSA with valid iqama will be preferred as this position needs to be closed as soon as possible
