**Role Purpose**

We are looking for a **Senior **Structural Engineer** for our P&DS team. The role of the Structural Engineer is primarily the delivery of services so that contract deadlines can be achieved.

This role will be working on a major mixed use scheme in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It will be responsible for delivering multiple building projects as part of a large programme.

**What this job involves**:

- Review and hands on the structural design
- Hands on ESAB Program
- Review of all Structural Shop drawings and IFC Drawings
- Managing the contractor’s Structural Progress of works,
- Review all structural drawings and advise on the structural methodology and management plan
- Assisting other trades in coordination with MEP clashes and penetrations
- Assisting in planning the progress of construction at site so that workforce, plant and materials are available on time
- Helping to organize the Structural Construction progress
- Liaising with contractors and subcontractors in accordance with the programme.
- Ensuring materials are brought to site as and when required.
- Ensuring all Inspection Requests are raised in timely manner
- Review all Method Statement related to structural works
- Ensuring the organization's health and safety policies are implemented and followed.
- Making sure that safety equipment such as PPE is available on site.

**Desired skills and experience for this**:

- Degree Qualification in Civil Engineering is a must
- Professional Memberships are an advantage but not essential (CIOB).
- Experience in managing on site logistics in the region.
- Major international project experience is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal skills with a fluent proficiency in English.
- International safety qualification / recognition an advantage but not essential.
