- Provide primary care to women throughout their lifespan, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and medical histories of patients
- Perform routine gynecological exams and screenings
- Provide family planning counseling and services
- Assist with labor and delivery, including monitoring fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize electronic medical record systems (such as Cerner) to document patient information accurately

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or Midwifery
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM)
- Experience in providing comprehensive care to women throughout the lifespan
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols related to obstetrics and gynecology
- Strong assessment skills to identify potential health risks or complications during pregnancy and childbirth
- Ability to provide compassionate and culturally sensitive care to diverse populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Proficiency in discharge planning and case management for postpartum patients
