Due to our continued growth in the region Jacobs is hiring a Project Controls Engineer in Riyadh. Working closely with the Project Management team you be responsible for supporting all aspects of the project controls function. Responsibilities include:

- Support and provide oversight and review of the Consultant’s/Contractor’s planning and scheduling of the assigned projects including Consultant/Contractor’s staff plans and manpower histograms and project progress measurement, etc.
- Ensure that the Project Controls Systems provide the best possible control tools for the supervisory staff on the project to allow them to control their work efficiently
- Maintain up to date knowledge of planning software and techniques as used on the contract and ensure as well that the staff maintain their skill and knowledge
- Ensure that the project manager, construction manager and other stakeholders are aware of any potential threats to completion on schedule, and to propose remedial action
- Ensure that planning staff are identified, recruited, trained and assign who are competent, experienced and cost effective
- Appraise performance of subordinates and identify / implement training and development needs
- Establish and promote good working relations with his team, project staff and the customer
- Develop staffing plan and execution for the project organization to ensure resource is available
- Prepare internal and client weekly and monthly project status reports
- Review of EPC contractor schedules and programmes

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:

- Previously worked within a Project Controls or Planning capacity
- Experience working on major infrastructure projects
- Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience
- Experience across the full project lifecycle with respect to planning, cost, and schedule control
- Good understanding of the design process and construction methodologies
- Experienced user of Primavera P6
- Consultancy experience is highly beneficial
