Position: - Upholsterer sewing Technician

Experience in(furniture's -curtains-sofa)

Department: - production

**W**orking area : - KSA

**المهام والمسؤوليات**:
1-Study work orders to determine the amount and type of materials required to cover work pieces

2-Follow sketches, patterns or blueprints to indicate cutting lines on fabrics using chalks, pencils or paint

3-Measure and cut materials using manual or automated cutting instruments

4-Confer with customers prior to upholstery to determine their color, style, and fabric preferences

5-Remove anchoring tacks and strip upholstered furniture down to its wooden frame

6-Examine furniture frames, springs, and webbings to identify defects

8-Ensure projects are completed and delivered before set deadline

9-Cover wooden frame with soft materials such as cotton, felt pad, fiber or foam to improve texture and appearance

10-Work with tools and materials such as glue, staples, saw, cement, tacks and nail guns

11-Secure work pieces and materials onto production equipment

12-Conduct routine maintenance of work tools and upholstery machine

13-Finish upholstered furniture by attaching ornament trims, buttons, buckles, and grommets

14-Operate sewing machine to sew upholstery and join various sections of covering fabric

15-Replace defective or worn upholstery spring, webbing or wooden frame.

**Working requirements: -**

Academic qualification : Diploma

Number of years of experience and its field : with a minimum of Three years of experience

Gender (male / female) : male

Technical skills : He has excellent experience in the upholstered furniture

Working hours / number of working hours : 8 hours

Job specific competencies : Withstand work pressure, work accuracy

Salary Range : Diploma
