**Operation of Chiller Systems**: Monitor and operate chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- **Maintenance and Repairs**: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and control systems of chiller equipment.
- **Monitoring and Control**: Use control systems and gauges to track temperatures, pressures, and flow rates, adjusting as necessary to maintain proper operating conditions.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain logs of operational data, maintenance activities, and system performance metrics for analysis and reporting.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.
- **Coordination**: Work closely with other facility staff, including HVAC technicians and maintenance teams, to address issues and improve system efficiency.
- **Emergency Response**: Respond to equipment failures and emergencies, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- **Training**: Provide guidance and training to new operators or maintenance personnel regarding equipment operation and safety procedures.
- Monitoring and recording chiller plant performance and energy usage.
- Reporting any abnormalities in the chiller plants.
- Monitoring the EC levels & pH of the makeup water and maintain it within the limit. Manual blow down of water if required to maintain quality levels.
- Preventive maintenance of pumps, valves, cooling towers, side stream filters etc.
- Carrying out cooling tower cleaning in coordination with maintenance supervisor.
- Carrying out operations over CPM.
- Completing the work orders on time in CMMS related with chiller plant.
- Any other tasks assigned by Maintenance Supervisor/Maintenance manager.

**Essential Knowledge and Skills**
- Experience in operation & maintenance of water cooled & air-cooled chillers.
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification HVAC, mechanical systems, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in chiller operation, HVAC systems, or facility management is highly desirable.
- **Technical Skills**: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues efficiently.
- **Communication Skills**: Good verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaborating with team members
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Accurate and methodical
- Ability to follow instructions.
